2013 PSI directive’s French transposition has generated some side-effects that should be
considered and corrected during the EU directive recast in order to make a real success of PSI re-use. Funding of public sector entities, Public Sector Information (PSI) including
personal data, data quality: such key issues merit extensive debate and coordination
within European institutions that should consider them as a high-priority while the PSI
directive is being revised.
